What is A–Z of Early Years?
A–Z of Early Years is an early childhood education brand that explores the early years through the alphabet. Each letter introduces an idea, practice or experience that matters to young children, from Adventure and Belonging to Curiosity and Continuous Provision. Alongside the series we create practical EYFS resources for settings in the UK and British curriculum nurseries and schools across the UAE.
We believe children deserve inspiring learning experiences rather than a steady diet of worksheets. The little moments are often the ones that become lasting memories.
Jennifer Hammond
Head of Early Years · Teaching and Learning Lead · Founder of A–Z of Early Years
Jennifer Hammond is an Early Years specialist and educational leader with 18 years of experience in the UK curriculum, including 16 years leading learning across the diverse, multicultural school communities of the United Arab Emirates.
She is an experienced senior leader and is completing the National Professional Qualification for Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators (NPQ SENCO). Inclusion sits at the heart of her practice and of everything she creates.
Having led schools with predominantly Emirati pupils, Jennifer brings deep expertise in bilingual education and in nurturing children’s dual-language identity. She designs rich, multi-modal learning spaces where home and school languages work together to support every child’s development.
Jennifer is a passionate advocate of the Reggio Emilia philosophy and of child-centred environments. She led her setting to become the first Curiosity Approach accredited school in Abu Dhabi, and she regularly leads cross-school moderation workshops and parent engagement sessions.
A–Z of Early Years brings that experience to educators and families everywhere: practical, inspiring ideas from A to Z that keep the magic of childhood alive.
